Hope Overflowing (Virtual Spring Gathering)
April 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
UPDATE: If you missed the event, you can watch it now!
Due to coronavirus, our Spring Gathering this year will be an online event. Join us April 24 at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page for mission updates from Guatemala & Cuba, as well as a sermon from the president of the Baptist World Alliance. Our theme this year is Hope Overflowing (from Romans 15:3). During the one-hour event, you’ll hear from:
- Brian Ford, Churchnet Executive Director, as he brings greetings and leads the event.
- Gary Snowden, Churchnet Mission Team Leader, as he provides updates on Churchnet’s partnerships in Cuba & Guatemala.
- Paul Msiza, president of the Baptist World Alliance, as he brings the keynote message.
We won’t be able to have our annual mission banquet like usual. But we still hope to raise the funds necessary for our partnerships. So, enjoy a nice dinner in quarantine and then join us as Gary shares about how God is at work in Guatemala & Cuba and then invites you to join along (you can give online by picking the “Mission Banquet Offering” fund that goes 100% to our partnerships in Cuba & Guatemala).
But above all, you don’t want to miss hearing from Paul as he wraps up his five years as BWA president. He will bring a message based on his global ministry and on experiences from growing up as a black man under Apartheid in South Africa. It is always a blessing to hear Paul’s prophetic and evangelistic preaching, and he brings a message we Christians in the U.S. need to hear today.
Make plans to join us over on our Facebook page at 7 p.m. on April 24 as we celebrate Hope Overflowing.
