“America’s Changing Religious Landscape”
Published by the Pew Research Center, May 12, 2015
We intuitively knew things were changing around us. Church leaders have anecdotal stories along with factual data about the shifts in the lives of churches. This groundbreaking research from the Pew Research Center verifies what we knew….the religious landscape around us is radically shifting.
In this webinar, church consultant Mark Tidsworth unpacked insights from this report. The heart of this webinar consisted of a continuum which describes responses churches are making to their changing context. Some responses are less helpful and adaptive, while others are very hopeful. Each will be described, along with examples. This continuum will provide a model for church leaders to use for assessing their congregations. Suggestions will be made for how to lead one’s congregation toward helpful adaptation, based on the continuum presented.
This webinar includes 45 minutes of instruction with 15 minutes for Questions and Responses.
